Yep, I am one of those people who have a bookshelf on “time management” and stuff like that. I am a disciple of Covey and Allen. I love to know how to use my time better.
Part of that is a personal thing: I want to get stuff done. Part of this is a theological principle: I want to be a good steward of the things that God has given me, including my time. Jonathan Edwards’ 5th resolution is challenging: “Resolved, never to lose one moment of time; but improve it the most profitable way I possibly can.” So I love books on time management.
The problem with books is that you have to have the time to read them. And when you are working out your whole “I need to get my life under control” you usually don’t have time to read.
Fortunately I have come across this video which is an excellent summary of all the stuff that you need to do. It is the video I would make (without the moustache). Enjoy! It’s only 10 mins.
