Knee: A Parable

I have always wanted to write a parable but its not as easy as it looks.  This is one of the reasons that I have a huge respect for Jesus as a teacher.  He was able to make these parable that seemed quite simple, but are incredibly dense in their theological richness.  This idea is an extrapolation of an idea I saw in Mark Dever’s book “What is a The Healthy Church?”.  I have become more and more concerned about the rising influence of consumerism in churches and the way it affects people attitudes to church.  So I have tried to imagine if the limbs of a body would act in the same way people in churches would.  (See 1 Corinthians 12:1-31).
